Age 8 +. Seniors (age 50+), must be in good health. one year of table tennis experience is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know Chinese to join the camps?
No, we welcome people at all levels in Chinese. For Table Tennis training,
you will have a coach or an assistant speaking English.

How do you group the students?
We 'll group them according to their Chinese level (based on the first day's
evaluation test) and age.

What type of insurance is provided in this program?
Tourist Accidental Insurance, 100,000 RMB/person

Is there any on-site nurse on campus?
Yes, it's available and there are hospitals close by.

Do I need a visa for China?
Americans or Canadians traveling to Mainland China, whether for business or pleasure, require a visa, which should be obtained in advance. For attending summer camp, you will need a tourist visa.

What type of visa do I need?
Single entry China visas are usually valid for 3 months after the issuing date, and will permit you to stay in China for up to 90 days. This visa will allow you to travel as a tourist or conduct general business activities.

When do I apply for a visa?
You can apply anytime as long as it's within 90 days from entry date. The best time to apply for your visa is 30 days before your departure. The visa is normally good for entry within 90 days of issuance

How do I obtain a China visa?
The Chinese Embassy and Consulates do not accept mail-in applications. Applicants for visas are requested to appear at the Consulate in person, or apply through an authorized visa agency. Visit Chinese embassy web site: http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/. If needed, we will provide an invitation letter to help you get visa.

Where should I arrive ? Where is the pick up and drop off?
You can first fly to Beijing Capital Airport, Shanghai Airport or any other major international airport in China.

You have two ways to arrive at the camp in Hebei, China:
1)Airport pick up/drop off  at Beijing Captial Airport by the Hebei Overseas Chinese School staff .
2)Airport pickup/drop off at Shijiazhuang Airport (you will need connect flight to Shijiazhuang airport)

You have two ways to arrive at the camp in Hunan, China:
1)Airport pick-up/drop-off at Changsha Airport by Hengyang Foreign Language school.(you will need connect flight to Changsha Airport)
2)Train station pick up / drop-off at HengYang Train station ( Train from Beijing or from Guangzhou).


Will the camp transfers be escorted?
Yes, all campers who need to transfer from one camp to the other will be signed up escorted service with the airlines they fly, our camp hosts will coordinate with the airlines to only release campers after seeing designated camp personale at their destination airport.

Are the Camps in China safe?
Yes, you will live in a gated facility with 24/7 security. All activities will be escorted by camp consular in and outside the campus.
