Objectives and Highlights:

Hunan Hengyang Foreign Language School provides an

exciting opportunity to study Chinese language and culture,

tour of China’s best attractions with new Chinese friends.

The Objectives are:

Improve your Chinese listening, speaking and writing skill.

Become fluent in Chinese through practice while mingle with local peers.

Learn the Chinese culture and experience the immense modern change

Program Description:

This program provides high quality standard Mandarin Chinese listening,

speaking, and writing training by experienced Chinese as Second Language

(CSL) teachers from Hengyang Foreign Language School .

The program include daily language classes plus PE classes weekday mornings; afternoons

are reserved for various recreation and cultural activities. With an atmosphere of personal

attention, we offer students an immersion experience in China with intense language

learning and cultural explorations. From intensive classes conducted by state qualified

instructors, a broad spectrum of culture and trip activities, a safe & comfort on-campus

living, to a team of friendly counselors, we make sure that all students get a rich and

smooth experience.

Activity Highlights:

Formal Chinese Classes in small group ( there will be less than 10 students each group, depends on their Chinese level tested in the beginning of the session) to learn Chinese Pinyin, Conversation and Writing Skill using the highly recommended learning Chinese book << China Panorama >>.

Fun filling interactive lessons / tours about Chinese culture, history and tradition. Activities include but not limited to learn Chinese Calligraphy, observe Chinese Kungfu, make Dumplings, visit Chinese, taste the famous food.

Field Trips to Cai temple and NanYu HengShan and other local famous historical site.

Adventure aboard program at China best attractions (Guilin or ZhangJiaJie).

Culture exchange and fun party with Chinese students at the end of the session.

Activity Duration:

You have the flexibility to join one or multiple sessions up to 4 weeks as dated below. We highly recommended you to join at the beginning of a session, in case you have to arrive in the middle of the session, fees will be prorated.

Picking up and Dropping off:

Option 1:Changsha Airport, China . (4 hrs driving or 2.5hrs trains to Hengyang)

Option 2:(preferred) Hengyang Train station, Hengyang, China (20 minutes driving to the School)

Lodging & Meals:

Students either live with our warm hearted and friendly host families or stay on campus premium dormitory with clean rooms and linen services (3-stars standard)

Meals are provided for all campers. International foods are available at nearby chain restaurants.

We can provide arrangement for you to live with a local friendly family.

Parents can enjoy the same treatments as the foreign students, including lodging, meals and so on.

Security Guarantee:

All our program site staff are trained for safety issues. The dedicated teachers and doctor accompany the students all day. 24/7 on-site student counselors On-site counselors are available.

In addition, we will purchase 100,000 RMB accident insurance for each student for the duration with our camp in China.

Registration Time:

Register by April 1st to save $100. Registration starts now to 2 weeks before your session start. A late fee of $50 will be charged for applications after June 1st, 2009. Spots are limited; enrollment depends on completion of application forms and paid deposit on first come first serve base.

Application of Teaching Assistant positions is required at least 4 weeks before your session.

How To Enroll:

Step 2: (Preferred) Email or Fax a copy of the signed application form to inform us to start your enrollment. also email or fax a copy your passport page with photo and passport number for insurance application.

Step 3: Mail the application with deposit payment by check, or using Paypal.

Please make check payable to ‘MIC America LLC ', mailing address upon request.

Failure to follow Step 3 would automatically forfeit the registration. All bounced checks will be charged for an additional $25.

Cancellation:

If student canceled the enrollment 15 days before leaving his/her country for personal reasons, we will refund 50% of the total charge. No refund for cancellation less or equal to 15 days before departure.

The non-refundable registration fee $75 will due 15 days after registration. Total fee balance due June 1st .Paid deposit will reserve your place in the camp. A late fee of $50 will be charged for applications after June 1st, 2009.

Group Rate:

For a group of 10 or more, we offer 10% group discount. Please inform us as soon as possible, we could work with you to customize some other activities for your group within our plan.

Teaching Assistant Credit: Confirmed Teaching Assistant in English will receive 50% of the camp fee at regular rate as credit, reimbursed weekly upon satisfied evaluation of the TA duty for that week.
